AdamsBlinds supplies and fits commercial blinds and shading across Birmingham. Larger projects beyond the normal service area are assessed individually.
Make the enquiry useful
A window count is a starting point. The purpose of each room helps us recommend an appropriate system and prepare a quotation you can assess.
Identify where sunlight affects monitors, where a view is desirable and which rooms need privacy for meetings. A single fabric specification may not suit every elevation or room. We can discuss roller, vertical, Venetian and other relevant options.
Include the age groups using the building, access to windows and any room-specific safety requirements. Control choice, positioning and the required safety devices need consideration alongside cleaning, durability and the use of the room.
Explain any requirement for sleep, privacy, cleaning, frequent use or coordination with an existing interior. Tell us which products are being retained. Specialist requirements are checked against the proposed specification rather than assumed from a product’s name.
Compare a defined scope
We work from the information available and identify what still needs survey confirmation. Please include the project’s requirements rather than relying on a general request for “commercial grade”.
A simple room-by-room window schedule helps everyone refer to the same openings. Mark approximate dimensions, existing products and unusual access. For our supply-and-fit work, final ordering measurements are checked during the survey.
Specify any required fire classification, cleaning method, blackout performance or material restrictions. The selected fabric and complete system must be assessed against those requirements. We do not treat a generic description as evidence of compliance.
For motorised systems, identify the intended control groups and any existing building controls. Power, wiring, compatibility and commissioning responsibilities need agreement. Removal, disposal, access equipment and additional preparation should also be identified in the quotation.
Plan beyond the product order
A useful installation plan accounts for the site’s routine as well as the number of blinds. Tell us about deadlines before an order is placed.
Share parking, delivery, induction and building-management requirements. If risk assessments, method statements or particular documentation are needed, raise them at quotation stage so we can confirm the arrangements and any effect on the programme.
If rooms must remain in use, discuss whether the work can be divided into stages. Restricted hours, school holidays and other access windows need advance agreement. Dates depend on the products being ready and the site being available.
Nominate someone to receive the completed work and operating information. Keep room references and order details together so future questions are easier to resolve. Further servicing can be quoted where it falls outside a valid guarantee or statutory remedy.

Yes. Send the schedule, site addresses, product requirements and intended programme to info@adamsblinds.co.uk. Images of plans can also accompany the form. Explain which details are provisional and whether survey, supply, delivery and fitting should all be included.
Yes. Identify each address and its approximate quantity separately so we can assess the locations and work involved. Larger commercial work beyond the usual Birmingham coverage is considered on the scope of the project.
Yes, supply-only delivery is available throughout the UK. We need an agreed ordering specification and clear responsibility for measurements and installation. Tell us whether you have your own installer before we prepare the quotation.
Our repair service is limited to products supplied by AdamsBlinds. For other products, we can discuss replacement, or assess fitting suitable complete products you have already bought. Send photographs and the original order details where available.
