Your details, handled with care.

This notice explains how we use information submitted through the Birmingham section of AdamsBlinds.co.uk, and how to contact us about it.

Who is responsible

AdamsBlinds is a trading name of Bexmon Limited, company number 07703609. Bexmon Limited is the controller of the personal information described here. Our registered office is 292 Wake Green Road, Birmingham, B13 9QP, United Kingdom. This address does not accept customer visits.

For privacy questions or requests, email info@adamsblinds.co.uk or write to the registered office. You can also telephone 07849 709975.

Information you give us

When you enquire, we receive your name or company name, email address, telephone number, postcode, house number or building name, product interest, approximate quantity, project type, service requirements and contact preference. We also receive your message and any photographs or images of plans you choose to attach.

The form records which Birmingham page the enquiry came from and assigns an enquiry reference. This helps us understand your request and avoid duplicate submissions. The marked fields are needed to process the form; you may instead contact us directly by email or telephone.

Photographs are optional. Please send images relevant to the windows or proposed installation and avoid including people, identity documents, payment details or other information we do not need.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to discuss the project, prepare estimates, assess the service area, arrange surveys and, if you proceed, supply and install the agreed products. For individual customers, this is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract and to carry out the contract. For business contacts, we also rely on our legitimate interest in dealing with organisations and their representatives.

We use relevant records to answer questions, handle complaints and meet accounting or other legal duties. Our legitimate interests include maintaining an accurate record of a project and protecting the website against misuse. We use optional analytics only where you have chosen to allow it.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. We do not use this form to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Email, photographs and service providers

A completed form sends the enquiry and any accepted photographs to info@adamsblinds.co.uk through our web host’s mail service. A separate acknowledgement is sent to the email address you provide; photographs are not attached to that acknowledgement.

This section does not create a public image gallery or a separate customer database. Uploaded files are handled temporarily while the request is processed. Copies sent by email remain part of our enquiry correspondence and are subject to the retention approach below.

Information may be accessed by authorised members of our team and by the hosting, email and IT providers needed to run the service. Where an order requires it, relevant project details may be shared with the fitter, supplier or other contractor working on that order. We do not sell enquiry details.

Security and essential technical records

A session cookie connects the form to its security checks. We use a maths question, anti-forgery tokens and submission limits to reduce automated messages and misuse. Protected temporary records use hashed identifiers for rate limiting. The host may also keep ordinary access and error logs, including IP addresses and request information, for operation and security.

Email and internet services cannot be guaranteed free of all risk. Do not send card details, passwords or sensitive personal records through the enquiry form. If you need to share something confidential, contact us first to agree a suitable method.

How long information is kept

We retain enquiry correspondence for the period needed to deal with the request, follow up agreed work and resolve questions arising from it. Where an enquiry becomes an order, relevant records may be kept for accounting, guarantee, complaint and legal purposes.

Retention depends on whether an enquiry proceeds, the nature and duration of the project, any unresolved issue and applicable legal record-keeping requirements. Records are reviewed and removed when no longer required. Temporary form-security records have a shorter operational life and are periodically cleared. You may ask about the retention of your particular enquiry using the contact details above.

Optional analytics and external links

Optional Google Analytics, when enabled for this section, is held back until you allow analytics through the cookie controls. You can change that choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Essential form functions do not depend on accepting analytics.

WhatsApp links open the WhatsApp service only if you choose to follow them. Links to company videos, reviews and other websites take you to their respective services; those destinations have their own privacy and cookie arrangements. Videos are not automatically embedded into this section.

External providers may process information outside the UK. Their published policies explain the destinations and safeguards for that processing. We consider the required safeguards when appointing providers to handle information on our behalf.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, erasure, restricted processing or transfer of information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Please email info@adamsblinds.co.uk with enough detail to identify your enquiry. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Some rights have legal exceptions; we will explain any that apply to your request.

You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator. We will update this notice if the way this section handles information changes.
