01 / Planning your project
Confirm what is included in the box.
Brackets, clips, end caps, controls and safety devices vary between systems. Missing or incompatible components can prevent a product being installed correctly, even when its overall size appears right.
Keep the original instructions and packaging until the product has been checked. We may ask for photographs of the mechanism or fittings to identify what is supplied and whether anything needs resolving with the retailer first.
02 / Planning your project
Check the window and supporting surface.
We assess the available space, the way the window opens and the proposed fixing. A purchased blind may be too wide, too deep or unsuitable for the environment; an installation visit cannot correct an incorrect product specification automatically.
Tell us about tiles, metal lintels, ceiling conditions, hidden services and high-level access. Any special fixings, equipment or electrical provision need to be considered in the quotation.
03 / Planning your project
Keep product and fitting responsibilities clear.
The supplier of the product remains the contact for its manufacturing warranty and any missing parts. Our agreed workmanship responsibility relates to the installation work we carry out, alongside your statutory rights.
This service is separate from repairs. We do not offer repairs to products supplied by other companies, and we will not fit a product where the proposed installation is unsuitable or the required safety arrangements cannot be completed.
