FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Integrity and complete honesty are key to us! Every product has its own pros and cons. It’s important your questions are answered to the best of our knowledge so you are comfortable in dealing with us. We will do our best to ensure that all job details are accurately put across to you before any agreement is made for a work assignment.
1 - Can you please give me a price breakdown of the quotation provided?
Answer: Price estimates and quotations are given per project. We are a Supply-and-Fit company, so our quote normally includes all costs (products, services, installation, taxes etc.). We give one price that covers the whole project for a clearer understanding. Based on the number of blinds purchased from us, a discount is also calculated into the final price. If the price were broken down, this discount would be not applied and service fees may be added to each item separately. You may split your project into, for example, 3 separate projects that we can price individually, but not the products and services alone.
2 - What does blind sizes within tolerance mean?
Answer: When we measure your windows, we take a measurement in millimetres e.g., 1000mm. On the final product, a 3% size difference may appear in plus or minus, which is considered "within tolerance". For example, instead of 1000mm, it may show as anything between 970mm–1030mm in the width and/or drop on selected products.
3 - Are the colours of samples you email or send links for the same in real life?
Answer: The colours/samples we email you are for illustrative purposes only as they may slightly differ from the actual product colours due to differences across monitors/screens etc.
4 - Can the colours/patterns/grains of the samples you show me differ from the blinds I am ordering?
Answer: There could be some slight differences in the actual blinds we install and to the colour swatch we show when we do the survey. This may happen because the materials come from different production batches, as colouring/painting is never the same. This is more applicable if you ordered blinds from us a while ago and now order some more in the same colour/pattern/grain, the new blinds may differ from those you ordered a while ago.
5 - Can installing a specific blind type in front of my windows make my window glass crack?
Answer: It is the customer's responsibility to check with their window supplier what the suitable blind type for the window glass they would like to treat with blinds is to avoid any damages, such as cracks, due to heat build-up between the window glass and blinds. We have no tools to measure window glass thickness or identify window glass types for our customers. For more information please read this article: "Windows cracked because of the heat?"
