The main feature of this blind that in contrast to the tensioned blinds the wires are not visible.
There are 2 product types: Type A and Type B
Type A - Fixed Corner Caps
The blind has a ‘floating rail’ which carries the fabric across the opening.
You’ll notice that there are no visible guide wires when the blind is open.
The ergonomic handle is built into the floating rail so that notice protrudes past the ‘face’ of the side channel profiles.
The main feature of the ‘Type A’ SkyLight is that the frame corner piece is one part. That is, the plastic cover you see is actually part of the corner component and is not removable.
The Type B has a removable corner cover. You’ll notice that there is a hole in the corner joint which can be used for ‘Face Fixing’ the blind in addition to/instead of side fixing.
With the cover cap fitted, it looks almost exactly the same as the Type A blind. There is space to fit the brush on both the front and the back edges of the side channel, however, fitting it to the front edge should be sufficient to reduce any light seepage.
