Cassette blinds
A cassette covers the roller and mechanism with an aluminium headbox. It can create a consistent head detail across a room and protect the assembly from everyday dust and knocks. Different models add side channels, specialist edge retention or an overhead tensioning arrangement.
Choose the level of enclosure first, then the control: chain, crank, battery or wired electric. Square and rounded headboxes are available on relevant models, with the final size determined by the blind and fabric.

Understand what the channels do
Side channels guide the fabric and can reduce unwanted light at the edges. Tracker adds a more secure retaining detail to compatible systems. For a room with a defined blackout requirement, compare the dedicated blackout-unit range as well as the fabric.
Allow space for the assembly
Headbox depth, continuous reveal surfaces, handles and opening sashes all affect the installation. Photographs and a window schedule are useful for initial advice, with the final arrangement checked before manufacture.
