About this system
C56T draws fabric across an overhead opening using tensioned spring units. Twin cassette sections and Tracker side channels keep the assembly enclosed, while a geared crank provides manual operation. It is an option for suitable skylights and roof lanterns where a reachable crank can be accommodated.
A square installation is essential. The SkyShelf support option can help form an appropriate recess detail, and we assess the fixing surfaces, headroom and access before confirming the system. The published maximum size is up to 3,000 × 3,000 mm, subject to the selected configuration.
Use an approved fabric selection
The published recommendation for this model names Eden Blackout, Roach and Screen Vision. Fabric choice is therefore more restricted than on an ordinary vertical roller. We will confirm the current suitable selection for the proposed size.
Understand normal operating characteristics
The tension box can make a pinging sound during operation, and some rippling may appear near the fabric edges. These characteristics should be considered when choosing a blind for a particularly quiet or visually sensitive room.
