About this system
C57T uses a 230 V AC motor and tensioned spring units to move fabric across a roof opening. The twin cassettes and side channels contain the assembly, providing an enclosed alternative to an open overhead roller. Powered control is particularly useful where the glazing is well above normal reach.
The blind is assessed against the geometry and structure of the opening, not just its visible dimensions. Up to 3,000 × 3,000 mm is published for the system, but the fabric, supports and complete configuration must be confirmed before ordering.
Confirm the fabric and motor together
The current published fabric recommendation for C57T is Roach. We check that selection against the proposed blind size and chosen motor. Control accessories and any integration with other equipment are specified separately in the quotation.
Allow for sound, finish and access
The tension box can make a pinging sound, and some edge rippling may be visible. A square mounting arrangement is important; SkyShelf can be considered for an appropriate recess. Access for electrical connection and future servicing must also be planned.
