About this system
R57 uses a 230 V AC motor to operate a tensioned roller across suitable overhead glazing. Fabric is held on a sprung barrel and connected to the drive through draw tapes, so it can travel across a roof opening rather than relying on gravity.
This model is useful where the blind will be adjusted frequently or where a manual control is impractical. Power, control positions and access need to be planned before fitting. For an enclosed appearance, compare the C57T cassette; for a dedicated blackout arrangement, consider C77.
Decide how the room will be controlled
A single rooflight and a bank of overhead blinds need different control arrangements. Let us know whether you want local switches, a handset or coordinated operation, and provide details of any existing building controls.
Allow for installation and maintenance
