Product overview
About this system
C20 covers the roller and mechanism with an aluminium headbox, giving the top of the window a defined finish. A metal chain operates the sidewinder, while the fabric runs freely below the cassette. It is a useful option where an exposed roller would look unfinished or be more vulnerable to dust and knocks.
The cassette size is selected to suit the barrel, blind dimensions and fabric thickness. Square and rounded profiles, along with black or white standard hardware, allow the visible assembly to work with the surrounding frame and finishes.
Choose the level of enclosure
C20 does not include side channels. If controlling light at the edges or retaining the fabric along the sides is important, compare the channelled C40. Using blackout fabric in C20 will block light through the cloth but does not seal the perimeter.
Check space around the cassette
We need to allow for the selected headbox, bracket position and rolled fabric. Handles, vents and inward-opening sashes can affect whether top or face fixing is the better arrangement.
