About this system
VPF provides a simple way to cover a vision panel when temporary privacy is needed. The fabric has stitched hems and is held at its corners by turn-buttons. When the panel should be clear, it can be rolled up and retained at the top.
This is a fabric screen rather than a roller cassette. Its close position to the glass can help limit edge gaps, and removal for cleaning can be useful in managed environments. Fabric and fixing details are selected for the panel and intended use.
Check the purpose of the panel
A vision panel may be part of a door’s operational, observation or safety requirements. Confirm with the responsible building team when it may be covered and what fixing method is acceptable before specifying a flap.
Choose the fixing and finish
Turn-buttons are the standard arrangement. Hook-and-loop fixing, shaped panels and printing can be considered where appropriate. We need the panel dimensions and photographs of the surrounding door or frame to assess the detail.
