About this system
Laser screening is a technical specification, not a substitute for ordinary blackout fabric. The material is intended for passive guarding against stray laser radiation and can be configured with selected chain, crank or electric blind systems.
The appropriate assembly must be selected against the laser application and the site’s safety requirements. We need the required technical specification and approval process before quoting. Specialist installation availability is confirmed individually; the website does not establish that any blind is suitable for every laser.
Provide the required safety specification
Ask the person responsible for laser safety to identify the relevant wavelength, exposure conditions and required protective performance. Current technical evidence and the whole installation detail must be reviewed before a product is approved for use.
Specify the complete barrier
The fabric is only one part of the arrangement. Edges, overlap, mounting, openings and operating procedure can affect the intended protection. A roller, cassette or vision-panel flap should be chosen as part of the assessed system.
