About this system
VL31 uses a wand to operate the blind, with wheeled carriers running in a slim white aluminium headrail. It is a practical alternative to a chain-and-cord system where the user can comfortably reach the wand and wants a simpler control arrangement.
The louvres can be angled to manage daylight or drawn aside to uncover the window. Fabric type, louvre width and stack position are chosen for the room, with enough space allowed for the louvres to rotate freely.
Check wand reach
The wand needs to be reachable throughout normal use. High windows, a wide sill or furniture in front of the glazing may make another control method more convenient. We will assess those details before recommending the system.
Consider the lower edge
Standard louvres use weights and a stabilising chain. Enclosed-weight options can be discussed where a different lower-edge arrangement is preferred. The finished configuration should match the room and its users.
