About this system
For a larger blind where manual operation is preferred, R54 combines a heavy-duty crank mechanism with 53 or 70 mm barrel options. The detachable magnetic handle helps keep operation under staff control without adding a permanent power supply.
Fabric is retained in the barrel groove and an aluminium bottom bar. The selected barrel, brackets and fabric must be considered as one assembly: the largest listed width is not suitable for every fabric or drop. We will confirm the complete specification against the opening and expected use.
Set the operating position
Large glazing often means a high mounting position. The crank must reach a sensible operating height and have room to turn. A fixed handle may be appropriate where it should remain permanently with the blind.
Match the fixing to the load
Provide photographs or drawings showing the proposed fixing surface. A secure installation depends on the structure behind the finish, not simply the visible wall or ceiling material. Access equipment and any preparatory work can then be considered in the quotation.
