About this system
The R20C replaces a hanging control chain with a crank handle. Its geared mechanism helps turn the roller smoothly, and the magnetic detachable handle can be put away when staff need to manage access to the blind. This makes it worth considering for classrooms, public rooms and other frequently used spaces.
A 45 mm barrel supports the fabric, with metal brackets and a white aluminium teardrop bottom bar in the standard configuration. We select the fabric for the room’s privacy, glare and cleaning requirements, then check its weight against the proposed blind dimensions.
Choose a usable handle
The handle length and operating position matter as much as the blind width. We need to know the installation height and who will use the blind. A fixed-handle option may be more convenient where the handle should remain with the window.
Check the application
Removing a hanging chain can simplify the layout, but a standard crank blind is not an anti-ligature system. If the room has a specialist risk assessment, tell us before a product is selected.
