Product overview
About this system
R20W provides crank operation using a plastic winding mechanism housed at the end of a 40 mm barrel. It is an option where a detachable operating handle is preferred to a chain and the blind falls within the model’s permitted dimensions. The handle is specified separately.
Compared with the heavier R20C and R54 systems, the R20W has a lower published size capacity. We will check the opening, fabric weight and expected frequency of use before recommending it. The quotation will identify the chosen crank and any additional hardware.
Choose the duty level
For a large window or a demanding shared space, compare R20W with the heavier geared crank systems. Selecting the mechanism to suit the actual blind is more useful than choosing by appearance alone.
Think about handle storage
If the handle is to be removed after use, agree where it will be stored and who will operate the blind. We also need sufficient clearance for the handle to turn without striking the reveal, furniture or glazing.
