About this system
R55 provides electric operation for a heavier-duty roller installation. Its 230 V AC motor is housed inside the barrel, with a choice of 53 or 70 mm barrel depending on the dimensions and fabric. The open roller layout keeps the system visually simple while removing the need to operate a large blind by hand.
We specify the power feed and controls alongside the blind. A single window may use a local switch; several blinds may need remote or group operation. The quotation should make clear which control equipment and electrical connections are included.
Coordinate controls before ordering
If a building has an existing control system, send its details with the enquiry. Compatibility needs to be confirmed for the selected motor and interface rather than assumed from the fact that both systems are electric.
Check access and fixing surfaces
Large blinds need suitable brackets, structure and access for fitting and servicing. Photographs of the glazing and ceiling help us identify these requirements before a survey or quotation is arranged.
