Product overview
About this system
F40D provides a two-sided retractable screen arrangement for an opening beyond the practical width of the single F40. Spring-operated mesh sections retract into side cassettes, with decelerator mechanisms controlling the return.
It can be considered for suitable double doors and larger access openings, including rooms where ventilation is useful but insects need to be kept out. The complete doorway must be assessed for cassette space, guide positions and unobstructed door movement.
Assess everyday traffic
A wide opening may also be a busy route. Tell us about accessibility, equipment movements and how often the doors are used so the threshold and operating arrangement can be considered realistically.
Check both sides of the opening
Both cassettes need an appropriate fixing surface and clearance from handles, hinges and adjacent fittings. We also need the usable opening dimensions rather than the nominal width of the door frame.
