Product overview
About this system
F30 uses a roller arrangement to cover a suitable opening with insect mesh. A sidewinder chain raises and lowers the screen, and the mesh retracts into an aluminium cassette when it is not needed. Guide channels keep the sides of the mesh assembly in position.
The PVC-coated fibreglass mesh allows the opening to remain screened while it is used for ventilation. We check the frame, handles and opening direction before confirming the fixing arrangement, especially where a screen will share space with an existing blind.
Check the opening movement
An outward-opening window and an inward-opening window need different clearances. Send photographs showing the frame with the window open as well as closed so we can assess where the screen and guides can sit.
Choose a suitable control
A chain may be convenient where the bottom bar is awkward to reach. For a directly reachable screen without a hanging chain, compare the F32 spring-operated version.
