Offices & commercial buildings
Direct sun on a screen, a meeting room that needs privacy, a glazed reception that overheats: each calls for a different balance of light, view and control.
AdamsBlinds helps businesses, contractors and facilities teams select and organise the supply and fitting of suitable systems. We work across the UK, with access and the installation programme agreed for each project.
Discuss your requirements
Start with the working day
Tell us which elevations receive direct sunlight, where screens are positioned and when privacy is needed. A screen fabric can retain a view in daylight while controlling glare; privacy depends on the light levels on each side of the glazing. A dimout or blackout fabric serves a different purpose.
For rooms that change use, consider independent blinds, grouped operation or a second layer. We will establish the required control method before discussing motors or interfaces.
Choose a system that can be maintained
High-use blinds need a practical control position and accessible fixings. In tall spaces, a motorised system may simplify daily use, but its power supply, switching and maintenance access should be planned before installation.
For large glazing runs, matching blinds does not necessarily mean one continuous blind. Product limits, fabric weight, intermediate supports and building movement all influence the arrangement.
Plan the installation around the building
Send us a window schedule, approximate quantities and the site postcode. Tell us about occupied areas, permit requirements, high-level access and any work that must take place outside normal hours. These details let us define the service and quote accurately.
