Venetian blinds
A Venetian blind changes the angle of daylight by tilting its horizontal slats. It can provide privacy while admitting some light, then be raised when a clearer opening is wanted. Aluminium slats offer a choice of painted, metallic and textured finishes.
The VN25 uses a tilt wand and separate lift cord. VN25S combines lift and tilt into a mono-chain mechanism. Their size limits differ, so the correct model should be selected against the opening and preferred control method.

Check both the slat clearance and the stack
Slats need room to tilt without catching handles or glass. When the blind is raised, the stack below the headrail must also clear any opening sash. These checks help establish the right fixing position.
Confirm the finish from a sample
Metallic and textured surfaces can change appearance under different lighting. Use a physical sample where the finish must coordinate closely with frames, fittings or other materials.
