About this system
K2500 uses a fixed rail and captive release gliders. Under the specified load the curtain separates from the gliders, while the rail and gliders remain in place. This is a different operating principle from a magnetic track that detaches as an assembly.
Top-fix and face-fix versions are available. The top-fix version can be shaped, and the track is supplied with sixteen release gliders per metre. Curtains are specified separately.
Specify the release configuration
The published test ranges depend on the chosen mix of white and grey gliders and were established using 3 mm-wide curtain hooks. The standard mixed arrangement is listed at 18–24 kg; all-white and all-grey configurations have different stated ranges. The responsible project team should confirm the appropriate assembly, curtain and test requirements before ordering.
