About this system
SafeDoor Plus Connect changes where the magnetic components are located: they are fixed at the doorframe in the hinge-post arrangement. The flexible door remains a load-release privacy panel, while the magnets stay at their installed position.
The published design includes a cut-out handle, a curved profile and a nominal 9 mm panel thickness. Left- and right-hand hinge arrangements and custom printing can be specified for the doorway.
Check the hinge-post arrangement
The opening, fixing surface and required privacy coverage must be assessed together. Send the doorway details and approved room specification so that the proposed Connect assembly can be checked. A nominal 9 kg release arrangement is published. The Crib 7 claim under BS 5852:2006 relates to ignitability testing and does not establish a fire-resisting doorset rating.
