There are five main power options for Somfy motorised blinds.

Determine which power option is the right choice for you.

The entry level battery wand is powered by

disposable extended-life lithium batteries. Batteries

must be replaced once the battery power expires.

The dual battery wand extends the lifespan

of the battery power to your motorised blind,

meaning replacing batteries less often.

Once the battery power expires, the

rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack is

charged with a simple plug-in charger.

The rechargeable battery wand is powered by

rechargeable batteries. Batteries must be removed

and recharged once the battery power expires.

The energy efficient solar wand utilises Ni-MH

battery technology, this patented energy saving

technology uses sunlight to power the motorised

blinds and requires charging less frequently, when

it is time to recharge this is done easily with a

plug-in charger. The solar wand is compatible with

the rechargeable battery wand only.
